Dr Matt Blundell
Matt is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Toxicology at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London. He first picked up an ultrasound probe when undertaking an ‘F3’ job in South Africa in 2009 and was enthralled when he diagnosed a cardiac tamponade in his first patient. Matt firmly believes in the concept of ultrasound being the new stethoscope and is the co-lead for ultrasound in his department. He has additional qualifications including a PgCert in Medical Ultrasound and is undertaking the BSE Level 1 in Echocardiography. When not covered in ultrasound jelly, Matt can be found covered in sweat after a home gym workout or attempting/failing to recreate another dish from MasterChef!
Throughout the years we have seen thousands of doctors pass through our doors and have received countless positive reviews
