Dr Alice Cook
After training as a GP and working for a short time in General Practice, Alice went back into hospital medicine and did 2 years of anaesthetics, followed by the Diploma in Tropical Medicine in London. She then worked in West Africa for 14 years and after a break with young children, went back into Emergency Medicine part-time. After 12+ years in ED and gaining FRCEM, she works as an Associate Specialist at The Royal Surrey in Guildford, where She is POCUS lead for the department.
